About
I build complete solutions end to end — web platforms, backend APIs, AI-powered features and enterprise automations that teams use every day.
I'm Raniya, a Senior Python & AI Engineer based in Doha, Qatar. I design and build full web applications, from database to deployed product — Django, Django REST Framework, Flask and FastAPI on the backend, React on the frontend, backed by PostgreSQL. I've built SaaS products, learning platforms with role-based access and live classes, analytics dashboards, portfolio sites and e-commerce projects, and I take each one from idea to launch.
Today I'm on the AI Innovation Team at QIC Group (Qatar Insurance Company), building AI and automation solutions for finance, HR and investment teams — including PE Lens, a portfolio analytics platform presented at QIC Demo Day. Before that I spent three years as a backend developer at LogicPlum, and I started my career as a Python & Django trainer.
I integrate generative AI into real products and workflows, connect systems through clean, documented APIs, build premium Power Automate flows and Copilot assistants across Microsoft 365, and deploy on Google Cloud — Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, global load balancing and CI/CD from GitHub. My work in insurance, private equity and investor relations means accuracy, security and audit readiness are built in, not bolted on.
I also run Rannz, where I build my own products and take on freelance projects, and I teach Python, Django, APIs and AI integration one-to-one in English and Malayalam.
